Principally a gastropub, yet popular with locals, and there's discount loyalty card for them. The front of the pub is traditional with pictures/artifacts of working horses. The large curved brick walled bar leads to a modern open plan restaurant extension with large glass windows and windowed roof. There is extra seating outside in both the rear patio/garden and in a grass area on the other side of the large car park at the front. Food consists of locally sourced seasonal gastropub fayre.
For accessibility, there is a step between the main bar area and the armchair lounge and restaurant, and access between the two would be via the outside, but the side entrance is the main entrance for the restaurant and this top section of the bar anyway, and this is also where the accessible toilet is so use this entrance (to the right of the pub).
This Pub serves no changing beers (Third pump available should trade warrant it.) and 2 regular beers.
