This pub, standing at the edge of the National Park, is popular with walkers and holiday-makers. It consists of a bar with a raised area at one end, and a separate restaurant; the wood-burning stove is very welcoming in the winter. Food is a mix of traditional and continental-style meals, with daily specials and seasonal game and seafood. The pub is open all day with live music during Frogham Fair, which takes place on August bank holiday Saturday.
