Famous as the Aidensfield Arms in TVs Heartbeat, this traditional and unspoilt pub in Goathland offers up to three cask beers. Regular Coastliner buses go to Whitby, York & Leeds, while the NYMoors Railway travels to Grosmont and Pickering, with most trains now also travelling through to Whitby.

Pub and meal times may change as new owners takeover.

TV actress Tricia Penrose buys The Goathland Hotel of Heartbeat fame.
