Old country pub with a modern restaurant area.
A charming free house that is very convenient for the Severn Valley Railway and by crossing the footbridge across the Severn from Upper Arley village.
In the last week of June and into July there's a 40s theme featuring old army vehicles, uniforms and music. Live music every Sunday during summer at 4pm. There can also be an outside bar on Saturdays and Sundays in summer.
Food includes sandwiches, main meals and a children's menu. Steak night on Wednesdays, roast on Sundays. There is also an ice cream and cakes counter.
Winter hours can be a little shorter in the evenings. In winter, it may open for food in the weekly build-up to special events e.g. Severn Valley Railway gala. Please call to check.
Two real ales from Wye Valley and one or two changing beers.
