NB Reopened on 3rd April 2026 under new management. No cask ale at time of reopening, but the new licensees say they are exploring options with local breweries. Opening hours will be adjusted as trade establishes itself.

A stone-built pub situated just off the main road, opposite Centre Vale Park. Inside, there's a low beamed ceiling and a wall extending into the centre of the pub, with the bar and a comfortable seating area on the left and a pool table and further seating on the right, also used for large-screen coverage of major sporting events. The stone fronted bar has a stone flagged standing area, the margins in the bar-back decorated with bunches of grapes in relief.
