A compact bar in Todmorden's indoor market hall opened in October 2019 by the then licensees of Jack's House on Burnley Road. It was soon extended into the adjacent market stall to provide a larger seating area (which involved turning the bar area through 180 degrees!) and has undergone a further refurbishment in January 2026, with greater provision for cask storage and cooling.
In addition to the three cask beers, Thatcher's Stan's cider is now available on handpull. Keg beers and cider, wine, soft drinks and a small selection of spirits are also available, but not hot drinks which other market stalls can provide.
Note that public toilet (including disabled) facilities are provided in Bramsche Square, and these are currently free of charge, and customers may also use the market tenants' toilets by agreement.
Opening hours may vary if the market hall is open later for events. Please note it is closed on Bank Holidays except Good Friday. A very popular bingo session is held at 5pm on Saturdays with further sessions on Sunday afternoons.
