The Puzzle Hall can be found nestling between the canal and the river. The 17th-century building once included a brewery; the tower is now incorporated into the accommodation. Reopened by a community pub company after extensive renovation on 23 December 2019. There is steep slope down to the entrance from the road and a single step at the entrance.
There are six handpulls serving six changing beers. Always has a bitter and a dark ale available. Food is limited to gourmet pork pies and crisps.
