Under new management from September 2024. An old pub, dating back to at least 1799, the Royal Oak Inn is situated at the top of Sowerby Street (hence its nickname of "Top o' the street"). It is a roadside pub. The inside features include a real fire with original fireplace to the right, and screens showing Sky Sports & TNT. Weekly Bingo alongside monthly Quiz and Music Events. Dog friendly & also children welcome until 8pm.
They have a 'Happy Hour' offer Monday-Thursday 4pm-8pm where there is 20p off Cask & Draught Pints. Pork pies from a local butchers are available subject to availability.
