*** Highlands & Western Isles pub opening and food service times currently vary nearly on a day-to-day basis, mostly dependent on establishments' access to bar and waiting staff. Hence you will almost certainly see different times than those published here. Please DO NOT send updates to either opening or food service times, as trying to hit a moving target is a waste of our very limited resources. The Isles Inn is situated in the central square of Portree and is an excellent base to explore the "Misty Isle". The bus station serves the local area and coaches from Glasgow and Edinburgh arrive and continue to Uig for the ferry connection to Harris.

The restaurant and bar are decorated in a Jacobean style. The menu features locally sourced ingredients including langoustines, hand dived scallops and local haggis, neeps & tatties. Vegetarian options also available.

2 craft beers are usually on tap, together with a range of bottled beers and ciders.

Meal times may be shorter in winter.
