Consisting of one large, width-wise extended U-shaped room with one arm of the U being a bar type of area with a quarry tiled floor, a dart board and a skittle table. The rest of the pub is equally acquiescent to diners and imbibers alike. In 2004 the long alley skittles area to the rear of the pub was converted into bed & breakfast accommodation. The pub sign is worth mentioning as the plough features twice in the picture; firstly and most obviously with a farm tractor pulling a plough along a furrowed field, then more discreetly as the plough constellation appearing in the twilight sky. Guest beers come from the Marston's Group. There is a restricted meals menu most of the week; Sunday lunches.
