This Pub is Permanently Closed

Converted and rebuilt by Whitbread from a former golf range bar in 1995. Opened as a large 'Tavern Table' family pub-diner, originally called the WATERMEAD, later BREWSTERS. In 2005, it became an Asian style bar-diner and renamed PAPRIKA. Public bar on the left with pool and sports TV; large plain restaurant on the right. Good-value Indian meals. Closed in 2016, and the pub will be demolished for the development of a "care village".
