This was a very basic pub with two rooms. After several years of closure, it reopened under new ownership in December 2024. Plush modern interior; informal atmosphere; Indian food served.

Historic Interest

This large pub was built in about 1892 and was formerly owned by Robinsons Brewery of Burton-on-Trent. Ownership passed to Ind Coope in 1929, and the pub was later run by Ansells of Birmingham. Ansells' signage survived until 2024.
