This roadside pub adjoins a 28 room Casa Mere Hotel which can be booked from the website. The garden includes a play area. Formerly the Tabley Court House this 17th century building was associated with Dick Turpin and claims to be one of the oldest licensed houses in Britain. A warren of rooms with timber much to the fore, low beams and tiled floors, it is largely food-based and opens early for breakfast. There is an a la carte menu with some vegetarian and vegan options. Tables can also be booked from the website.

There is a guest beer from a small list and the permanent beer is from Ellesmere Port based Oaks Brewery and carries the house name Kilton Blonde.
