Ye Olde No 3 is a long-established pub of uncertain age, wedged between the Bridgewater Canal and the A56 (Lymm Road). After the roof was repaired summer 2023 the pub re-opened with a new team. Lunch time and evening meals are on offer.
See their Facebook page for Menu and details of Ales.
The pub is located right next to the Bridgewater Canal - but on the south bank, while the towpath is on the north bank. The south bank has moorings for boaters.
On entering from the main road you see first the bar in front of you, with small cosy seating areas immediately to left and right. Further to the left is a big open room with soft upholstered bench seating around the walls and an eclectic range of tables. For the colder evenings, there is a real log fire in the main room. Note opening hours may be extended Spring/Suymmer.
Historical note: in the 19th century the pub was known, to cartographers at least, as the Red Lion Beer House.
This Pub serves 4 changing beers (Exact combination of regular and changing still under evaluation) and 0 regular beers.
