Historic Interest
A former Home Ales tie which has been a public house since at least 1855 when the landlord was R. Jennison (Post Office Directory).
At one time there was a blacksmiths forge to the rear and part was used as a coffin store when the neighbouring funeral parlour became short of space (Whitworth 2010).
Registered as an Asset of Community Value 19th May 2016 and nominated by the Nottingham Branch of CAMRA.
