The historic former British Legion Club, located behind an artillery gun, is now the Green Man backpackers hostel, with the Widders bar open to visitors. Two handpumps, usually Butcombe. It may be wise to contact the bar before visiting as trading sessions appear to be seasonal and the signs are (as of March 2019) that the bar is closed.
