Comfortable town-centre pub, inside its gently split-level bar is a popular haunt for those hurrying back from Chepstow racecourse with winnings to spend. Once a free house before being snapped up by Buckleys of Llanelli then becoming a Brains house. Now managed by Marstons it no longer sells real ale but seems to major on food. Sunday quiz at 8pm. A recent refurbishment has given the place a new refreshed look with a plethora of framed scenes of old Chepstow among others dotted around the walls.
