This Pub is Permanently Closed

The pub sadly closed in May 2017. Initially new tenants were sought, then the freehold was put up for sale, marketed as having potential for development, but it remained closed and boarded up. A planning application to demolish the pub and replace it with housing was approved in October 2023 and it was demolished in October 2024.

It was a traditional no-frills pub, tucked away just off the main road between Haslemere and Hindhead. A particular feature being the large garden with children's play area.
