The original Red Lion was first mentioned in 1750 but it was demolished in 1957 and the current building erected just to the west. It has an open plan bar with two big bay windows and a large garden. After struggling with several changes of management and a failed community buy out in 2023 it has been taken on by Oak Taverns. Has 'street food' offerings in attendance Friday, Saturday, and some other days - check Facebook, and if not you can order in. Sometimes has beers from the archives of the Dead Brewers' Society brewed by XT.
