This historic hotel dates back to the sixteenth century.
It was the former home of Sir Christopher Hatton, a favourite of Queen Elizabeth 1st.
The pub retains many original features, original floorboards and beams, oak panelling and a priest’s hole. Cosy open fires and a large pleasant garden.

Dated 1616. First opened as an inn 1792. Grade II* listed. Historic Wales/CADW reference 8888.
