This former 18th-century coaching inn is set in the heart of the Windrush Abbey which formerly had its own smithy, in a tiny village off the A40, near to Asthall Manor. The pub was renamed The Maytime in 1977, and has now been restored to its roots. Two real ales are served, along with cider and craft beers. There is also a menu of pub classics, wood fired pizza and seasonal specials. There is a regular Sunday pub quiz. Outside is a lovely walled garden where you can relax and admire the Cotswold Hills. There are also rooms, making this a lovely base to explore the area.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 1 regular beer.
