Small bar in a hotel on Woodstock High Street. The Feathers has been refurbished with the aim of restoring historical features and careful modernisation. The bar, now know as The Aviary, has a lovely sunny courtyard, a fire in winter, and The Nest is the restaurant. Specialises in gin with a Guinness Book of World records selection.
Historic Interest
The building was once an18th century sanatorium, a butchers and a drapers shop before before being merged and converted into a hotel called The Dorchester. It was renamed The Feathers in the 1980, in homage to the owner's taxidermy bird collection.
