Now branded as the Namaste kitchen, it was originally named "The Tanner Arms", Courage sold the pub in 1984 and it became a free house called the "Hook & Tackle". The old part of the interior acts as a traditional backstreet pub, with the extension of the bar being the Nepalese restaurant. No cask ale but some bottled beer available. N.B. the parking spaces immediately in front of the pub are for local residents, not pub visitors
