This Pub is Permanently Closed

On its third site in 300 years. The first site was in Artillery Lane, the second site is now part of Spitalfields Market. It has been on the present site since 1926. This comfortable pub used its early licence until Spitalfelds Market moved. Demolished in 2015. Pub was demolished by June 2016 as part of area redevelopment and was replaced.
