FEB to JUNE 2026 - No real ale available; handpumps unused

APR 2025 - Name change to Linton Restaurant with Rooms. Other details may change? Small, welcoming, traditional hotel by the historic brig over the Tyne in a pretty conservation village. Close to popular walking routes including the John Muir Way. There is a cosy public bar featuring beers from Scottish Breweries. To the rear is a pleasant coffee/dinning lounge while upstairs there is a large restaurant with modern styling and an attractive garden. The emphasis is on local produce, especially the steaks which reflects the manager's previous occupation as a butcher. Lunches are not served Monday to Thursday, but food is served all day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Stained glass windows and a roof top statue indicate the hotel's former name of the Red Lion.
