The picturesque setting right on the banks of the River Tyne makes this bistro ideal for outdoor drinking. There are tables to the front and a raised patio looking out onto the historic Nungate footbridge. Inside,the emphasis is on food, with the cosy narrow bar and two other areas all set up for dining. However drinkers are made very welcome, evidenced by the three hand pumps serving beers from across Scotland, including from the local Winton Brewery.
