Occupying a picture postcard setting by the old Nungate Bridge, this bistro enjoys views across the River Tyne to St Mary's Collegiate Church.

The bar features a long light oak counter with bar stools and real ale from Winton, who brew in the town.

The emphasis is on food, with several other areas are set out for dining, but drinkers are warmly welcomed. Food is served all day Friday to Sunday.

A great spot for outdoor drinking by the river.
