Reopened in June 2016 following an extensive refurbishment. Sold in Oct 2019 at auction and now under new management. This imposing street corner local has recently returned to selling real ale under new tenants. It welcomes both drinkers and diners and the overall refurbishment has created a very comfortable ambience. The single changing ale changes regularly and can be sourced from smaller breweries near and far. The number of changing real ales has recently been increased to one, since a change in management, and the pub is up for sale again, as of late October 2019. Real ale has been removed, as of April 2024.
