This Pub is Permanently Closed

Probably opened as a pub in the 1860s, known as the Dog & Rabbit. The name was changed to the Whippet in 1876 but it reverted to its original name in 1907. It was closed and demolished as part of an area redevelopment, the actual date of demolition is uncertain.
