Currently operating as a B&B. Top House Barbers operates on the premises Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. (September 2019)

Former description

This used to be called the Top House Inn, and undoubtedly is a quaint time-warp pub!. It's a freehouse, but only one handpull - Tunnel Vision from Box Steam brewery in Wiltshire. Only concession to the 21st century is a large corner TV. Some of the pub furniture is made from old Border Breweries wooden barrels, and there is lots of old photos and memorabilia. Oh! and a barbers shop in the back room. The trouble is, opening hours are restricted to Friday to Sundays! (closed Mon-Thu; 12-11 Fri-Sun) (Feb 2011)

Booking.com says no longer taking reservations May 2022. Reviews from 2020 say no longer opertaing as a pub.
