A rambling 18th century hotel which sits alongside the picturesque river Wharfe at the Town Foot bridge in the centre of Kettlewell. Its name derives from a corruption of Trace horses used to provide extra power for coaches on steep hills. A central bar services three separate dining areas, small or medium functions can be catered for. There are 13 en-suite rooms. Open daily until late.
