Primarily a dining pub, but it does welcome drinkers in the front bar area, and is popular with locals popping in for a pint. Two, locally-sourced cask ales are served, regularly from Rebellion and Loddon breweries, but also others. The pub prides itself on its high quality, good value, pub-type menu, all freshly cooked, using produce supplied by the neighbouring farm (who also own the freehold to the pub). The pub exudes a welcoming, comfortable and convivial atmosphere and is quite unpretentious. There is also small, but beautifully landscaped courtyard garden.
