This Pub is Permanently Closed
Closed Aug 2017,since demolished. Spacious open-plan hostelry on the outskirts of town, and very convenient for local camping and caravan sites. Carpeted throughout, the bar leads into two separate rooms, one of which functions as the family room, the other the restaurant. Popular with locals both for drinking and eating, families are welcome and a separate children's menu is available. A third, varying 'guest' ale may appear occasionally from the St. Austell Brewery list. The pub was originally named after Charles I. Parking is across the road.
