A busy pub close to Nantwich Square. There are two distinct rooms, one with a television usually showing sport, news, or quiz shows. The other room is quieter and tends to be used by diners. Large windows can be opened in the summer months to connect the inside to the quiet, mainly pedestrian, street outside where there are also a few tables available. There are 6 Hand pumps serving a variety of ales, beers from Salopian and Weetwood often feature. The Wickstead has received a Golden Pineapple award for food from Punch Taverns.
