Historic Interest

Became an Ale House in the early 1800s although originally built as two houses in 1631. Listed in Pigot's Directory 1828-29 and Bagshaw's Directory of 1850. The pub was acquired by Birkenhead Brewery but closed in 1928 and became a private residence.
