Large and attractive community pub. The interior, which wraps itself around a long L-shaped bar, is bright and airy. There's a large and comfortable beer terrace, next to the old A5 Watling Street. To the other side is a laid-back smoking area. Food is prominent, with many special and regular daily deals. Five hand pulls, though only one currently in use, offering changing selections from the Marston's portfolio. lots of organised events include Paint & Sip, monthly live music and coffee mornings. Large carpark is a Brit Stop location for motor homes and has electric charging points. Monday's 'cask club' offers a generous discount on cask ale.
