This is very much a traditional local, with a friendly welcome for all. The single room features a quarry-tiled bar room, with a smaller, carpeted area to the side. Towards the rear is a large enclosed garden which proves popular in the summer. Quiz and poker nights feature. The guest ale is generally a well-known beer. Parking is usually available on nearby streets.
