As well as being a golf centre its club house is also open to the public; Whaddon doesn't have a pub. Its owners have run it for over 30 years. Its single handpump offers a changing cask ale normally from Buntingford Brewery. Bar food available.

The bar area has tables and comfortable chairs one side and on the other side separated by bench seating is a pool table.

At its annual beer festival the offering rises to 6 to 8 ales served direct from the cask.
