Much improved large village pub. The main bar has been opened out but you can discern the old layout of two rooms and a wide corridor. One area has a low beamed ceiling, a tiled floor and old curved settle. The ceiling in the other is also beamed but higher and the floor is bare-boarded. Both have open fires. There's a separate, smart dining room with a big brick fireplace. The garden is huge and goes all the way down to the river - you can play both petanque and croquet out here. Home cooked food using locally sourced produce where possible served every session except Sunday evening.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
