Two bar grade II listed village local, just five miles from Newmarket. The main bar has a traditional clay tiled floor and welcomes walkers and dogs. The Red Lion changed owners in 2023, and is one of several former Greene King pubs in the area that are now privately owned. The two changing cask beers are sourced, mostly in pins, from small regional breweries including Nethergate and Mighty Oak. Monthly events include quiz nights and music evenings. Excellent value food is served, and special weekly food evenings include home made curries and a Persian menu.
