The Three Tuns is a traditional country free house dating back to 1643. Not easy to find, this historic gem is worth seeking out. Welcoming fires with inglenook fireplaces warming the beamed bar make this pub a pleasure to visit. Fine garden for summer drinking. Up to four beers, primarily from Adnams, two permanent and two changing cask beers in the summer and one in the winter. Nestled in the beautiful village of Cowlinge, Suffolk, The Three Tuns Pub was taken into new ownership by Claire & Mick in August 2026.
At the heart of the village, it is a true community hub, bringing together locals and visitors in a warm, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.
The Three Tuns is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee and locally made cakes, a light lunch with friends, or a delicious evening dinner.
