This Pub is Closed Long Term

A warm and friendly free house, off the beaten track next to the green in this quiet village location between Talgarth and Hay-on-Wye. The bar area has two smaller rooms off and a separate dining area behind. Two or three guest ales are usually on offer, plus local cider, all at reasonable prices. Good value snacks and traditional pub food are usually available and Sunday roasts are popular.

A June 2023 report said "open quite sporadically at the moment". Update August 2023, closed but expecting new owners to take over.

February 2024. Premises closed and shuttered, no sign of activity. No other information available.
