Large yet cosy canalside pub, close to the Llangynidr Locks, popular with locals and visitors. Two separate bar areas, one a large open plan room configured for dining, the other smaller one incorporating a restored games room. The beer garden on the banks of the Monmouth and Brecon Canal is a great place to enjoy a pint and the views on a sunny day. Usually one ale from Rhymney and two varying guests from independent breweries, providing some interesting choices for visitors.
