Patrick Frawley, founder of East London Pub Co, secured this premises in 2025 as his first pub for a new venture via the West London Pub Co. The Company has said " Guests can expect perfect Guinness, fresh oysters, live music and an atmosphere steeped in history – a tribute to both the building’s storied past and Ireland’s great pub tradition. It’s the kind of place where you come in for one, stay for five, and leave with at least two new friends and a favourite seat.”

Historic Interest

Grade II listed, Historic England reference 1221026. First licensed in 1793, the current building dates from 1884. The pub was badly damaged by fire in 2015 but, following painstaking repairs and restoration, reopened at the end of January 2017.
