A large open plan venue with modern decor with well-spaced tables and chairs. The long modern bar is against the facing wall with wood-style vinyl flooring from the front door. To the right are a few tables and chairs on a modern flag stone flooring. Up a couple of steps are tables and chairs aimed towards diners, with an impressive reproduction of an old local map covering much of the far wall. Neatly laid out outdoor area and car park with a fine garden. 50 seat function room. Thursday quiz. Good quality traditional food with carvery. The range of real ales may vary from one to three.

Historic Interest

Luddite John Booth, mortally wounded during the attack on Rawfolds Mill, is said to have kept his secrets and died here in 1812 and haunts still.
