A free house at the heart of the local community, comprising a taproom, the main lounge area, a pool room and a side room suitable for functions. Outside is a sunny seating area and a smoking shelter. There is a popular quiz with supper on Wednesdays, occasional live music at weekends, a popular charitable knit and natter night on Mondays (except in Winter when the pub is closed) and free pub grub Friday teatimes. 229 bus 10 mins walk. May close early when quiet.
