With a patio area, the pub is situated on a busy road from which it attracts much passing trade, no doubt attracted by the old adage on its pub sign. Refurbished in 2026 to a high standard, it majors on food in comfortable rooms but quality drinks are also important. The pub is surrounded by countryside and fine views, serving Old Mill traditional ales alongside good food. Dog treats are on the bar, well-behaved dogs are welcome.
