Large 1920's Art Deco pub with imposing signage and some original features. Local campaigners managed to get it listed to prevent conversion to flats. Serves Japanese food. Handpumps unused (confirmed June 2023). Friday nights: DJ Eddie starts at 9pm with a mixture of styles. Saturday nights: 9pm Karaoke.

A planning application was granted last Aug (2020) HGY/2020/1462

Erection of a two storey rear extension to the rear to facilitate 4 additional rooms for existing hotel aspect of a mixed use building.
