Hotel opposite the railway station around a mile from the town centre. What was a single large drinking area has been refurbished to provide several partitioned areas, with carpet and slate tiled floors. On Sunday afternoons a carvery is available. Often serves home-baked cakes on Friday mornings/ lunchtime.
