Historic Interest

The Pub was included in the selective 1980 Greater Manchester Beer Guide though soon after this was published the Mild was Keg. In 1982 this was a Greenall Whitley pub selling Bitter (E). On 06/03/82 the Bitter was 50p. However by April 1985 the pub had closed and by June 1985 it was up for sale. It was included on a lost locals list in the Spring of 1994.
