A traditional country Grand Union canal-side pub serving cask ales and good food from a varied menu. The pub has distinct areas; the restaurant and bar, the Phoenix Room, the Waterside Terrance and New Barn, and the Alfresco Bar & Kitchen.

A variety of beers from independent breweries are served; two in winter rising to four in the summer months.
